Photography has always been a deep passion of mine, though over the years, I’ve shifted focus to other areas of design and creativity. But now, it’s time to pick up the camera again—dust off the lenses, reset my vision, and capture the stunning landscapes that surround us. Below is a collection of some of my favourite images, taken primarily across South Wales. With the breathtaking Gower Peninsula on my doorstep, Aberavon just around the corner, and the dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons only an hour away, there’s no need to look any further—beauty is right here at home.
My Background
From an early age, I’ve had a deep passion for creativity and visual storytelling. My journey into the world of design began in comprehensive school, where I first explored Photoshop and graphic design. What started as a curiosity quickly became a lifelong pursuit, leading me to develop a broad skill set across various creative fields.
Over the past 10–15 years, I’ve worked extensively in logo design and branding, helping local businesses and friends establish unique, professional identities. Crafting a brand is more than just designing a logo—it’s about creating a lasting impression, ensuring consistency, and building something that truly represents a business. I take great pride in working closely with clients to bring their visions to life in a way that is both meaningful and impactful.
Alongside my design work, I have experience in sublimation printing, where color accuracy is key. I understand the importance of proper color management and profiles, ensuring that prints are vibrant, consistent, and of the highest quality. This technical knowledge complements my design skills, allowing me to create work that looks just as stunning in print as it does on screen.
Photography has also been a significant part of my creative journey. I spent years capturing landscapes and weddings professionally, using photography to tell stories and preserve moments in time. While I stepped away from professional photography for personal reasons, my love for the craft never faded. This year, I’m excited to expand my skill set further by adding drone photography to my services, allowing me to explore new perspectives and create even more dynamic visuals.
Although I explored web design during my early years, I ultimately found my true passion elsewhere. However, this experience gave me valuable insight into digital design principles, user experience, and how branding extends beyond just logos and print materials—it’s about creating a cohesive identity across all platforms.
At the core of everything I do is a commitment to creativity, quality, and innovation. Whether it’s branding, print work, or photography, I strive to produce designs that not only look great but also serve a purpose. I’m always eager to take on new challenges, push my creative boundaries, and help businesses and individuals bring their ideas to life.
My Education
A strong foundation in education and professional development has played a crucial role in shaping my journey as a designer. While hands-on experience is invaluable, I have always believed that continuous learning is the key to staying ahead in the ever-evolving world of design and creativity. I am currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, further refining my skills, exploring new techniques, and deepening my understanding of visual communication, branding, and user experience.
In addition to my degree, I hold Level 3 Diplomas in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and Lightroom. These qualifications have given me a comprehensive understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, allowing me to work seamlessly across multiple design disciplines. Whether it’s designing for print, digital platforms, or UX/UI applications, my technical knowledge ensures that I can approach projects with precision, efficiency, and creativity. Mastering these tools has enabled me to create high-quality, professional designs that align with industry standards and client expectations.
Beyond formal education, I have achieved Adobe Creative Educator Level 2 status, a recognition of my ability to integrate creativity into learning and professional development. My passion for design extends beyond just creating—I am deeply invested in the process of learning, sharing knowledge, and continuously pushing the boundaries of my creative potential. Alongside this, I hold various Adobe certifications in Express, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Education & Creativity, further solidifying my expertise in digital media, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving.
Photography has also been an essential part of my creative career. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Landscape Photography, which has strengthened my understanding of natural light, composition, and environmental storytelling—skills that deeply influence my design work. As a former member of the Society of Wedding Photographers and the Society of Landscape Photographers, I have gained valuable industry insights, professional connections, and a deeper appreciation for the art of visual storytelling. These experiences have taught me the importance of emotion, atmosphere, and narrative in crafting compelling visuals.
Education, whether through formal qualifications or real-world experience, is an ongoing process. I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my skill set, stay up to date with the latest industry trends, and refine my craft. My qualifications not only validate my expertise but also serve as a testament to my dedication, passion, and commitment to creative excellence.
